00: In this tutorial i will show you how to make the icons you see on some browers next to the site name. Like this:

01: Make a new document in 16x16 pixels.

02: Make the icon like you want it, like this:

03: Save the document as favicon.bmp

04: Now go to the file you just saved and rename it to favicon.ico (easiest done if you have hide extensions for known filetypes unchecked in folder options)

05: And finally upload the file to site directory so it's in the root with the index or whatever your frontpage is called.
