Network Administrator III - CCNP, CCNA & CCNA-S at TDC
(September 2010 – Present)
TDC is Denmark's largest ISP and telecommunications provider.
I work in the IP Backbone department as a Network Administrator. We have the day to day operations and maintenance of well over 4300 routers, switches and firewalls serving around 9 mil. customers. We primarily work with Cisco and Juniper equipment. Other than normal operations I have worked with other ISP's on NNI MPLS' (e.g. ATT, Verizon & BT), as well as worked with firewall rules, accesslists, blackholing and DNS blocking of phishing sites etc.
Network Operations Technician II - CCNA at TDC ( December 2007 – September 2010)
TDC is Denmark's largest ISP and telecommunications provider.
I worked at TDC's remote DSL fault handling department. I primarily worked with remote trouble shooting customers on DSL, VPN and MPLS solutions for private costumers, business' and other ISP's.
Also worked as support for our onsite technicians and our NOC after normal work hours.
IT supporter (2nd level support, system optimization, etc.) at TDC (March 2007 – December 2007)
TDC is Denmark's largest ISP and telecommunications provider.
1st and 2nd level support to TDC customers, system optimization/security, router support, firewalls, anti virus, etc.
Owner and manager of Dominion Internet Cafe (June 2002 – May 2006)
Ran and operated an internet cafe, a graphics design firm and helped local businesses with networks, wireless and network security in Oakdale, California.
At the cafe we had 35 computers where people could check emails, websites and play games. We also taught Word, Excel, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and basic usage of email and computer classes at the cafe.
At the graphics design company I made websites, logos and other PR materials for local businesses and shops.
(All businesses were closed when we moved back to Denmark in 2006)
Web-design and education at Stjerne Design (2000 – 2001)
With Stjerne Design I worked with website design and development of promotional material (leaflets, posters, letterheads, logos etc.). Other than that I also worked with teaching graphic design programs to the other employees at the company (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Flash).
PR and campaigning at JuniBevægelsen, Aarhus, Brussel and Strasbourg (1994 – 1998)
JuniBevægelsen was an EU critical organization with parliament members in the European Parliament.
I mainly worked in Aarhus, but also in Copenhagen, Brussels and Strasbourg. I worked on developing campaign strategies, promotional material, media training, participated in debate meetings, member-recruitment and much more.
